Bandsaw blade sizing guide
Bandsaw blades are specified as length x width x thickness, plus the tooth pitch. Width runs from the back of the blade to the tooth tips; thickness is the band body. TFI Co. M42 bi-metal blades are made in these standard sections:

All BAM, Yazd and Qom blades have an M42 high-speed steel cutting edge with a tooth hardness of Rc 67 to 69, welded to a flexible alloy spring steel backing. That bi-metal construction lets the teeth stay hard while the band flexes around the wheels millions of times without cracking.

Before you send the form
- Check the blade length against the machine plate or the old blade.
- Confirm width and thickness with a caliper if the old blade is unmarked.
- Note the largest and smallest sections you cut, and whether you cut bundles.
- Name the delivery emirate and site so delivery can be planned.

What if I do not know the tooth pitch?
Leave it blank and describe the material, its shape and the size range you cut. We will recommend the pitch and blade type.
Do your blades fit other makes of machine?
Yes. Blades are made to the length, width and thickness your machine takes, whatever the brand.
Can I order blades for meat and bone cutting online?
Yes. Use the same form and state that you need food industry butcher blades, with the blade size from your meat saw.
